It turns out that the iPod touch can also function as a card catalog. This is especially useful for college students. How many times have you had to go to your college’s library looking for a dozen books? You could print a copy of the books’ location, but there is an even easier and more environmentally friendly way to get that next term paper done. Instead of wasting paper and ink, why not use your iPod touch? Most libraries have an online card catalog. All you have to do is take a screen shot of the information you need and transfer the image files to your iPod touch. Depending on how your library’s card catalog system is set up and how you take the screen shot, you may have to zoom in a bit on your iPod touch in order to read the information. Now you have an easy and environmentally friendly way to get all the books you need.
