We can always count on the folks at Google for an elaborate April Fool’s joke and this year, they’ve outdone themselves once again. Google has combined with Richard Branson’s Virgin company to form Virgel, a company dedicated to putting humans on Mars. From a 100 Year Plan to a detailed FAQs section, Google certainly went all the way with their annual April Fool’s prank. Virgin founder Richard Branson and Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin laid out their plans for Virgle in two videos which can be viewed below. It’s nice to see companies with a good sense of humor and Google has certainly proved itself over the years with its innovative and humorous announcements.
