Mac OS X comes with a very nice address book built-in. You can access this address book by clicking on “Go” in the menu bar and choosing “Applications”. In list of applications, choose “Address Book”. The Mac OS X Address Book allows you to enter a variety of information about people such as their phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses and much more, you can even add your own categories. You can also tell Address Book to sort people by their first or last names. One of the nice things about Address Book is that it works seamlessly with Mac OS X Mail. So, if you use Mail as your email client, all you have to do is start typing the first name of the person you want to send an email to and if you have them in your address book, Mail will automatically take care of the rest, all you have to do is hit return/enter. The Address Book also works with an iPod, so any contacts you have in your address book can be copied onto an iPod.
