Windows Vista SP1 available through Automatic Update

Up until now, Windows Vista users had to go to Windows Update and install Service Pack 1 for Vista manually.  Starting yesterday, Microsoft began distributing the new Service Pack through its Automatic Update feature of Windows Update. Service Pack 1 is being released in phases, so not all consumers will see the update appear at the same time. The new Service Pack addresses a number of problems with Vista, which will hopefully cause more businesses to start switching over to Vista.
